Paulina Amber McCabe

Eighth Grade

Amber McCabe is pleased to begin her teaching career at TISA.  Ms. Amber is a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  Her area of focus is in mathematics.  As part of her university studies, a year and a half internship was required.  During this time she was the understudy of Nathaniel Evans, Taos Charter School’s 7th and 8th grade math and science teacher.

Ms. Amber not only deeply appreciates art but as well as creating art.  Early in her college career she practiced various art forms including water color, ceramics, and traditional Pueblo pottery. She continues to create art on her free time and looks forward to collaborating various art mediums with mathematics.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Amber enjoys playing in her garden, practicing origami, reading, hiking, and finding new places to fish.
