Kimberly Hamill

Second Grade

Kimberly Hamill holds a Level 2 New Mexico teaching license with a visual arts endorsement and a bilingual endorsement. She started teaching at TISA in the school’s first years, then took a hiatus from teaching when her second child was born. She is very excited to be back in the classroom; she is passionate about the arts integrated approach to learning at TISA!
Kim grew up in coastal Maine. However, she has been living in Taos County for over 20 years.  She was a foreign exchange student in Central America in high school, and again in college, experiences which gave her a good foundation in the Spanish language. She received a bachelor’s degree in weaving from Goddard College in Vermont. She received her teaching credential from Northern New Mexico College in Espanola.
