Jazzmin Redway

Kindergarten

Ms. Jazz is a new member of our TISA family this year. This will be the fourth year teaching Kindergarten
for Ms. Jazz, and she is so excited to be teaching at TISA! Ms. Jazz has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary
Education from the University of New Mexico and currently qualifies to move into a Level II Reading
Endorsed K-8 Teaching License with New Mexico.
Ms. Jazz is proud to be born and raised New Mexican, as she come from the Albuquerque area and a
family dating back generations from the southern part of New Mexico. For Ms. Jazz, living in Taos the
last three years has been an incredible, honoring experience. Exploring the mountains and nature, as
well as learning of the unique culture and history in this area, have brought her a great joy that she
hopes to share with her students this year.
Ms. Jazz envisions making learning fun, sparking a joy for learning and exploration in all her young
students, and fostering skills that will propel all her students forward into successful futures. As a
teacher, Ms. Jazz considers it an honor to inspire students, not only to learn, but also to make a change
in the world with every little act of kindness and compassion. Ms. Jazz wants her students to know that
they are important and they truly do make a difference. Ms. Jazz is looking forward to getting to know
the TISA students and having a great year packed with fun, learning, and friendship.
