Nicole Kowalski

Nicole Kowalski’s favorite kind of people to be around are kids.  She is happy to be back at TISA as an Elementary Special Education Teacher.  Prior to this, Nicole was an elementary school teacher (grades kinder- 2nd) for 8 years.  Creativity is also a big part of Nicole’s life; she was the creator of Taos’s own Glam Trash Fashion Show all the way back in 2001!   On the weekends (depending on the weather), you may find her skiing with her kids, gardening, dancing, camping, or hanging out with her pigs. Karrie Burnette

Hello everyone! My name is Karrie Burnette and I am a Special Education teacher here at TISA. I am a Lakota Sioux from Rosebud, South Dakota and my Lakota name is Hollow Horn Elk Woman.
